The second half of 2006 can well belong to Pretty Preity Zinta. For she has two big releases in the form of Karan Johar's 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna' and Shirish Kunder's 'Jaaneman' which has already fetched a record-shattering Rs 7.4 crore for the Mumbai circuit. Preity recently won the 'IIFA Most Glamorous Star of the Year' award. But when she danced to the Arabic tunes of 'Laila o Laila' and 'Mehboob Mere' at the same event, one couldn't help but notice the not-so-pretty-flab on her stomach. In the day and age when actresses are fervently sweating it out in the gyms of the world, Preity needs to do something fast before too many tongues start wagging about her appearance.
Meanwhile, Preity continues to remain in high spirits with two of her big releases round the corner. She also dismisses reports of her alleged differences with Rani Mukherjee by saying that Rani has proved lucky for her as all their movies together have done well. She goes on to say that if Karan is there for Shahrukh to ensure a hit then Rani is there for Preity to make a hit combo. As for the reports of her settling down with beau Ness Wadia by the end of this year, all she has to say is that the rumor mongers should give her a break. For when she has never hidden her relationship with Ness, then she won't hide her marriage dates either.
