Soon we shall see our own Bollywood biggies performing at the commonwealth games at Melbourne later this month. An entire gang of Indian film stars will be performing at the closing ceremony of the games.
The Indian delegation comprising of Aishwarya Rai, Rani Mukherjee, Lara Dutta, Isha Sharvani, Shreya Ghoshal and others will put up an 11-minute performance to give the world a taste of the next destination for Commonwealth games.
Isha Sharvani will perform with her mother Daksha Seth a dance called Bhukhamb. She will also be a part of the Shaimak Davar ensemble too.
Shreya will sing a song written specially for the occasion by ace lyricist Javed Akhtar titled Chalo Delhi that salutes sportsmanship.
Taufiq Qureshi has composed the Punjabi shera music on which the delegation will enter the arena. Everyone who has been in one or the other way been associated with the preparation is excited about it. Lets hope for the best.
