Last year it was 'Kya Kool Hain Hum'. This year it could well be 'Apna Sapna Money Money'.
When KKHH was announced, not many gave it a chance to be successful at the box office. After all youngsters Riteish Deshmukh and Tushar Kapoor in the lead with direction by Sangeeth Sivan who had two flops under his belt as 'Zor' and 'Chura Liya Hai Tumne' was hardly an interesting preposition.
But the promos changed it all and the final product worked with youngsters in such a big way that film turned into an overnight super hit.
The same is expected from ASMM which at the least has an advantage of coming into limelight instantly due to Subhash Ghai's Mukta Arts behind the film and Sangeeth Sivan and Riteish Deshmukh having successes behind them. Add to all this as a mad-mad theme, a rollicking presentation, a multi-star cast with actors like Jackie Shroff, Sunil Shetty, Shreyas Talpade, Riya Sen, Celina Jaitley, Koena Mitra, Chunky Pandey, Rajpal Yadav, Anupam Kher, Payal Rohatgi and Vrajesh Hirjee and you know that a 'masala bhelpuri' is in the offering. Further spice comes in the form of music by Pritam which has made its way into the charts with each of the songs 'Money Money', 'Paisa' and 'Guitar' being popular with the masses.
Plus if this was not enough, there are even attractions such as Riteish Deshmukh's 4-5 getups in the film, Chunkey Pandey appearing as a Nepali mafia Don, Rajpal Yadav as a local goon who is heavily influenced by Amitabh Bachchan's persona in Sarkar and last but not the least a master con-woman in the form of Celina Jaitley [who plays Sania Badnaam] that are expected to get the house on fire.
Releasing all over on November 10th, ASMM comes in direct competition with Sooraj Barjatya's 'Vivah' which has an altogether different theme and deals with the family theme of a 'journey from engagement to marriage' which has its own set of audience. This ensures that the party would be on once more when the bunch of actors chases a common dream - APNA SAPNA MONEY MONEY!
