Bhojpuri cinema is certainly becoming the order of the day. This 4-decade-old industry is one of those few regional language industries that has survived against the strong Hindi mainstream cinema. Mainstream actors like Ayub Khan and Rati Agnihotri are doing great work there.
This industry is now getting international recognition. It is looked forward to in many foreign countries. It has opened its doors for international actresses also. Recently a Ukrainian actress did a Bhojpuri film Firangi Dulhaniya. Another British actress Jessica Bath has also signed some Bhojpuri films.
Now it is the turn of Pakistani actress Meera to get into it. She is also looking for some offers. Bhojpuri films are commercial successes internationally. They are also looking to pitch for the national awards too. This assures a bright future to Bhojpuri cinema
