Even before the release of his debut film, 'Mirzya', Harshvardhan Kapoor has already signed two films. He has shot an entire schedule for Vikramaditya Motwane's 'Bhavesh Joshi' and signed Sriram Raghavan's next too.
It was recently reported that Sriram had finalised Deepika Padukone as the lead in the film opposite Harsh. But rubbishing the news, a source close to the director told a leading daily, "There's time for the film to happen. Harsh will finish 'Bhavesh Joshi' first. So, this project won't kick-start anytime soon. He has not cast any heroine opposite Harsh yet. And it's definitely not Deepika."
The source added, "Sriram and Deepika are in talks for another film, which is an adaptation of Vikas Swarup's 'The Accidental Apprentice'. But nothing concrete has materialised as Deepika has a packed schedule."
In a recent interview, Harshvardhan had said that he likes certain qualities of Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor and is hugely inspired by the performances of some actors. He said, "I like Aamir (Khan) for his choices, dedication and his ability to do one thing perfectly at a time. I also like Ranbir (Kapoor) for his spontaneity. It's not like I am trying to map my career around Aamir and Ranbir.
There are others, too, who I admire. I really liked Abhay Deol in 'Dev D', Imran Khan in 'Delhi Belly' and Ranveer Singh in 'Lootera'.
