'Take One School Of Mass Communications' in Dubai has invited the director Anand Kumar, producer Sanddeep Kapur and actress Hrishitaa Bhatt from the film 'Jugaad' to give lectures to Mass Communications students at their college.
According to the director Anand Kumar, who was also the director for 'Delhi Heights', "They have invited us because our film is based on the real life story of the producer Sanddeep Kapur. It is a feature film and not a docudrama but the treatment is very realistic. We have real characters played by theatre and film artistes. Film has its huge chunk of humor that falls out of real situations. We have not changed the actual happenings, just fine tuned them which is our cinematic liberty."
Comments Hrishita Bhatt, "It will be an experience of different level. Enacting a character and explaining how to enact are two different things. I am happy to get this chance."
Shot at various locations in Delhi and Gurgaon, 'Jugaad' is a real life story. Produced by Sanddeep Kapur, it is based on his own personal experience during and after the MCD ceiling in Delhi. It is voice of struggle of a successful CEO to survive and restart his life from a scratch. None of his jugaads and connections work in his favour to save him from complete devastation.
This film is a combination of loss, pain and humour of today's Baristas and Cafe Coffee Days and the crowds frequenting 'chaiwallahs' at the small town/city 'nukkad'.
