Occasionally we have been hearing gupshups about the returning of the B-town's famous screen invisible man 'Mr. India' in the movie's sequel. Now read on the latest buzz....
While it is known that Anil Kapoor and Sridevi will be reprising their roles in the new version, 'Mr. India 2' wouldn't directed by Shekhar Kapoor who did the original. But what's exciting is that Music maestro AR Rahman will be composing songs for this project.
Sources feel that it would be a challenge to the Oscar Award winning composer, since the original had become popular for its memorable tracks like the sexy duet song "Kate nahin kat the", Sridevi's club number "Hawa Hawaii", the playful "Karte hain hum pyar" and not to forget the kiddies' football song - all thanks to legendary musical duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal. So one has to wait to hear how far Rahman is successful in doing justice to the first movie's songs.
'Mr India 2' will be produced by Boney Kapoor, who is now the head of entertainment content at Sahara. Earlier, news had it that Salman Khan will be playing the negative role - the popular Mogambo character donned by Amrish Puri in original.
