Sanjay Leela Bhansali's films have always gathered momentum before they are completed. Be it Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam or Devdas or Saawariya. They all have their reasons to be in the limelight. Saawariya particularly has several reasons. It marks the debut of star kids Ranbir Rishi Kapoor and Sonam Anil Kapoor. If this was not enough, the film has Ismail Darbar's assistant Monty doing the music for the film. The music is experimental and very lively and different from the recent styles.
Another piece of information here is that lyricist Sameer has joined the camp. He has already penned eight songs for the film. Four of those songs have been already recorded. Sameer is waiting for the music of the film to release for he feels his work in this film is an answer to his critics. He penned all the numbers in a very short span of time. The songs are meant to be light hearted, innocent and simple enough to help the leads express their love for each other in the film with absolute easy and simplicity and innocence.
