Television's comedy king Kapil Sharma became a household name thanks to his show 'Comedy Nights With Kapil'. Apart from amassing a huge fan-following, the show also helped him gain a foothold in Bollywood. Last year, he made a debut as the lead in 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon'.
Though he has made a mark in Bollywood, the stand-up comedian doesn't aspire to do Hollywood films, like other B-Town actors. In an interview to a news daily, he said, "I just want to continue doing what I am doing. And I am happy doing Bollywood films. I think Hollywood already has a sufficient amount of talent. We should sell things where there are buyers. So, since Indian viewers love my work, I want to continue exploring more avenues here."
The comedian doesn't mind exploring films in regional languages and is producing a Punjabi film. He said, "If there is a subject that I think should be made in Punjabi, I will do that. I am producing a Punjabi movie. It is an adaptation of a Marathi movie. I have acquired the rights to that movie. It is based on the education system.
