After four years gap three high quality and meaningful Kannada films have been selected for Indian Panorama section 2007. At the International Film Festival slated in the month of November 'Kada Beladingalu', 'Daatu' and 'Moggina Jade' will be screened at the Panorama section.
'Kada Beldingalu' has bagged the best story award for Janaki (H.Girish Rao) and Socially relevant film award in the recent Karnataka state film awards is produced by Bengalooru Company. H.Girish Rao and Udaya Marakini the prominent journalists have written the screenplay for this film that is directed by B.S.Lingadevaru. 'Mouni' of the same director that had the screenplay and dialogues from Girish Rao and Udaya Marakini was selected for Panorama section in the past.
'Daatu' an off beat Kannada film that has a powerful performance from Roopa Iyer senior Vice President of India Classic Arts directed by K.Shivarudraiah is based on Ashwatha's novel. Master Revanth bagged the best child actor award at the state level.
'Moggina Jade' a children tale produced and directed by P.Ramdas Naidu is the third film that has been selected for Panorama section.
The list of 21 feature films and 15 documentary films selected for Indian Panorama section was released by K.S.Sethumadhavan head of the Panorama committee on Tuesday evening.
