Googly has seen an extraordinary run in the USA, where it is one of the few Kannada films to be commercially released. Unlike Tamil and Telugu films, very few Kannada films are released in the overseas market. Googly was permiered on August 2nd in Serra Theatre, Miltiptas, California. The 8 pm show as sold out.
This is the first time in years that a show for a Kannada film has seen such a response. In an extraordinary move, a second show was arranged at 11 pm for the extra crowd that had arrived. After the terrific response, two more shows have been organised in California this weekend.
