The familiar comedy hero of over 100 films in Kannada Jaggesh plays the role of wanderer in 'Beedhi Basava'. He is a street wanderer and does good things to the people around him in this film. Nikitha of 12 Telugu films who appeared in 'Maharaja' opposite Sudeep a few years ago is playing female lead.
The muhurut for this film 'Beedhi Basava' was held on Maha Shivarathri Day at the Doddaganapathi and Basavanna temple in Basavanagudi in Bangalore.
The role is similar to 'Banda Nanna Ganda' film for me said Jaggesh addressing the film media. Actor cum writer Mohan has given wonderful dialogues for this film.
