Kichcha Creations' latest offering Jigarthanda gets a release date. The movie will be released on the 24th of this month(June) throughout the state, in over 150 theaters. Rahul and Ravishankar are playing the lead roles in the movie.
The movie is produced by T S Sathyanarayana, Raghunath and Ramesh of SRV Productions whereas Kichcha Sudeep is presenting the movie under his banner Kichcha Creations. Mahesh Venkatesh is the executive producer.
Shiva Ganesh makes his directional debut through this flick, which is the remake of the Tamil movie of the same name, starring Siddharth and Bobby Simha.
Anil Kumar has penned the dialogues and minor changes have been made to script to suit the nativity. Samyuktha Hornaad, Sadhu Kokila, Chikkanna, Mahesh are playing important roles. Arjun Janya is the music director and a few songs from the album are topping the charts already.
Jai Anand is the director of photography. Devaraj S and Suresh Armugham are the editors. The audio is released through Anand Audio. This is Ravishankar's 50th movie - the reason why the movie is in news and why the expectations are really high. Ravishankar, apart from acting, has sung a song in the movie which is penned by Dr V Nagendra Prasad and song is shot on him.
This song has already gone viral on social media platforms. Manjunath of Mysore Talkies, who tasted success with Pawan Kumar's U Turn, is distributing this flick throughout the state. Makers are planning for a grand release as this is Ravishankar's landmark movie.
Promotions are already in full swing. The movie will have to face stiff competition from Anup and Ravichandran's Lakshmana and Naani which are releasing on the same day. Let's hope all the three movies will be liked and appreciated by Kannada audience.
