The last month of the year 2007 December is going to have a real battle in the box office of big star films in Kannada. The paucity of theatres on the one side and economy factor of the audience is not looked in to. There are films set for release of all the major stars in Kannada cinema in this month.
Dr.Vishnuvardhana, Darshan, Jayaprada starring 'Yee Bandhana' debut direction of Vijayalakshmi Singh that has been re-shot to prove that it is not a remake of 'Baghban' is the ambition project of producer Jai Jagdeesh who is badly in need of a major breakthrough. He has lost nearly Rs.5 crores from his earlier films like 'Kanchanaganga, Adhi, Kathegalu Saar Kathegalu and Madhana. Jai Jagdeesh also a famous actor has to survive from 'Yee Bandhana'. He has plans to release the film on 14th December 2007
Producer Prabhakar's very careful attempt 'Lav Kush' with two major box office heroes Shivarajkumar and Upendra also starring Jennifer Kotwal and Charmee is all set to release with 50 prints on 14th of
December 2007. Sai Prakash is the director and Gurukiran has scored the music for 'Lav Kush'.
The much expected 'Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melidhe' the debut in acting by hat trick director Prem for Ashwini Productions is releasing with 99 prints all over Karnataka on 14th of December.
That means to say for 14th of this month three big films are out in the middle to prove their mettle!
