Dialogue King Saikumar is a hugely popular star not just in Tollywood bit also in the Kannada film industry. While Saikumar has been ruling the roost by portraying character roles in Tollywood, he was once a well-known hero in Sandalwood and films like Police Story, Agni IPS, Police Story 2 and Central Jail etc earned him a star status.
While his career continues to go at great guns, Saikumar is unhappy with the war his son Aadi's career is moving at a snail's pace in Tollywood. Barring his first two films, none of Aadi's films were successful at the box-office and even the father-son duo's home production, Garam, was a colossal failure.
While Aadi is waiting for his latest film, Chuttalabbayi's release, his doting dad Saikumar has a smart plan for Aadi. Latest buzz is that Saikumar is planning to launch Aadi in Sandalwood through the official remake of Nikhil's hit thriller Karthikeya.
Saikumar must be banking heavily on his fan following in Kannada and his new move could be the last master plan to keep Aadi's career afloat. The remake is expected to begin in October and more details regarding the project may emerge soon.
