Prithviraj is well-known for the versatility he maintains in the selection of films. Interestingly, Prithviraj is all set to essay a national level football player in his next movie, The Beautiful Game. Reportedly, the actor's character in the movie is a former national level player, who was in the right forward position of the team.
But, the actor will not don a jersey for the movie. The Beautiful Game will not discuss the aspect of Prithviraj's character as a national level player. Instead, the movie depicts his life after he leaves the team and how his experience as a footballer helps his present life. Jamesh Kottakkal, the popular photographer makes his directorial debut with the movie, which is scripted by Ajay Kumar. The Beautiful Game will also portray the popular sevens football tournament in Malabar region.
Rob Miller, the sports action choreographer of Chak De! India and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, has been roped in to direct the game sequences of The Beautiful Game. More details regarding the cast and crew will be announced soon.
The movie is produced by actor Asif Ali, along with Sajin Jaffar, and Brijeesh Mohamed under the banner Adam's World Of Imagination. Asif has earlier acted in Prithviraj's production venture Sapthamashree Thaskaraha.
