Kabali, the upcoming Rajinikanth movie is all set to hit the theatres worldwide on July 22. There is an important connection between Kabali, and the upcoming Mohanlal starring thriller, Oppam. As per the latest updates, the Oppam team is planning to release the theatrical trailer of the movie along with the Rajinikanth starrer.
Mohanlal has recently bagged the Kerala distribution rights of Kabali. The actor, along with his business partner Antony Perumbavoor, bagged the Kerala rights for Rs. 8.5 Crores. It is the highest ever rate paid for another language movie in Mollywood. Reportedly, Kabali will be released in about 250 screens, by Mohanlal's MaxLab and Antony's Aashirvad Cinemas. Oppam theatrical trailer will be shown along with Kabali, in the Kerala releasing centres.
If the reports are to be true, the teaser of Mohanlal's upcoming Telugu releases, Manamantha and Janatha Garage will also be shown along with Kabali. However, the reports are yet to be confirmed officially. Oppam, which marks the collaboration of Mohanlal-Priyadarshan duo once again, is said to be an out-and-out investigative thriller. The movie, which is produced by Aashirvad Cinemas, will hit the theatres for Onam.
