‘Think Music’, the music company which acquired the music rights of superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Kabali, has said that the audio-sales of the film’s music has broken every conceivable records with regard to audio-launches of Indian films. In particular, the sales of the digitized version of the film’s music has surprised critics.
Swarup Reddy, CEO of ‘Think Music’, has issued a statement thanking music-lovers and Rajini’s millions of fans across the globe for helping the film’s music beat all possible available music records with respect to Indian films. “Music is of three kinds: good music, very good music, music of Rajini films. After 22 million watched the first teaser of Kabali, the music had great expectations when it was released on 11th June.
“As far as we are concerned, the whole world appears to be celebrating songs of Rajini’s Kabali as his fans have ‘admitted’ Santhosh Narayanan into their list of favourite music directors. Within a week of its release, the songs broke many records; the Neruppuda son has since been viewed by 4 million fanson YouTube alone.
“This songs is on top of music charts in ‘Gaana’, ‘Wynk’ and ‘Hungama’ and many music-based websites. i-Tune has also been uploading this song for fans in India, Singapore, Armenia, Malaysia and Sri Lanka. After Enthiran: The Robot, Kabali is easily the largest-selling album for ‘Think Music’ and we are happy to be aligning with producer Thanu for the third time.
