The latest to be bitten by the remix bug is Ameer. The actor-director is all set to shake legs for a remix song in Yogi, in which he is making his debut as hero. It is directed by Thiruda Thirudi fame Subramania Siva.
Sources close to Ameer said,' The remix song would resemble two yesteryear songs, one from MGR starrer Chakravarthi Thirumagan and the next from Sivaji Ganesan starrer Navarathri. Grapvine is that Ameer is also lending voice to the song, besides acting in it'.
Meanwhile, the get-ups of Ameer had been designed by actor-director Ponvannan, who had acted as heroine Priyamani's father in Ameer's directorial venture Paruthi Veeran.
