Lauren J Irwin, a British actress cum singer and dancer made her Indian debut through Superstar Rajinikanth's Lingaa. Apparently, the British actress got a great reception from Rajini fans in Twitter and she is in all praises for the star and his popularity.

Lauren has played an important role in the pre-independence era in the movie and she raved about Superstar's popularity after she watched Kochadaiiyaan. The actress also expressed her joy in working with KS Ravikumar and Lingaa team.
KS Ravikumar directing Lingaa music will be taken care by AR Rahman while Rathnavelu is handling the camera. Rockline Venkatesh is producing the movie.
