Cut throat competition is waging in kollywood for the remake rights of the films. Mostly the competition is going on for the remake rights of superstars MGR and Rajinikanth.
Sundar C is currently busy with the remaking of Rajinikanth’s super hit film ‘Murattukalai’. And now, there arises a heavy competition between Sundar C and Silambarasan for the remake rights of ever green yester year film ‘Ulagam Sutrum Valiban’, directed and produced by MGR.
Sundar, who had already made publicized his interest in doing the remake MGR’s of super hit film. He also said that he will start the film after finishing his movie ‘Thee’. But, as the discussions with the owners of the film has been lengthened, he could not do it at the before said time. And now, the latest buzz is that Silamabarasan is ready to get the remake rights of the film by paying of Rs. 60 lakhs to its owners. But the owners party has passed on Simbhu’s offer to Sundar, and showed its interest to give the offer to Sundar as he was the first one to apply for it but provided if he pay as much as Silambarasan only.
The countdown has been started for the rights as the issue is still going on among the members.
