After Chiyaan Vikram's recent super hit 'Iru Mugan' the next biggie that released on a Thursday (September 22) is Dhanush's 'Thodari' which hit the screens last week. So the film directed by Prabhu Solomon enjoyed a four day opening slot.
As we reported earlier today the film has performed pretty decently in Chennai achieving an above average opening despite initial mixed reviews. The film has collected around Rs.1.59 crores in Chennai on its first four days.
The film has collected around Rs.10.5 crores from Tamil Nadu in four days between September 22 to 25. In Chengalpet, considered as the largest film distribution area, the film has grossed around Rs. 2 crores and 70 lakhs. In Coimbatore the film has collected around Rs.1 crore and 70 lakhs.
Trade talk is that if the film holds on well in the weekdays starting today, it may end up in the safe hit zone.
