An official circular from FEFSI confirms that all employees, affiliated to FEFSI will be taking part in the Three day national level training workshop to be organized by ‘Ulaganayagan ’Kamal Haasan, the Chairman of Media & Entertainment Skills Council of FICCI and also one of the doyens of Tamil cinema. The program aims to train 10,000 film industry workers across the country with National and International Film industry veterans, technicians and specialists in 16 different jobs.
The 3 day workshop will be conducted in November but the dates are yet to be finalized. The FEFSI has appealed to Tamil film producers to avoid scheduling shoots during the workshop as none of the workers affiliated to FEFSI would be available.
The FEFSI has also thanked Kamal Haasan for his initiative that will fetch the Union Government’s recognition and Certificate for all film industry workers and technicians which will help them in long run.
