Kushboo had acted in a Kannada film called 'Magic Ajji'. She had donned the role of an old woman who is well versed in the dark arts of sorcery (pertaining to mystical and paranormal happenings).
Now this film is being dubbed in Tamil with the title 'Thantira Patti'. The story goes like this'. A young Kushboo who was a princess is killed by some evil doers. In comes an old woman (again played by Kushboo). The spirit of the princess gets into the old woman's body and avenges those who were responsible for the murder.
With tremendous scope for antics in a supernatural way, the old woman (Kushboo) thrills audiences to a great extent so much so that numerous sequences involving Computer Generated Imagery features in the film.
Kushboo started off as a flamboyant damsel at the start of her career. She eventually ruled the roost when it came to popularity in the Tamil film industry donning various roles. This probably is the first time Tamil audiences will see Kushboo as an old woman full of supernatural antics up her sleeve.
