Udayanidhi Stalin and Nayantara starrer Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal (IKK) has wrapped up 50% of the shooting portions and is left with two more schedules of the film.
The film was recently canned in Coimbatore , where the vital scenes of the film have been canned.
S R Prabakaran is wielding the megaphone for the film and Harris Jayraj is providing the musical scores. Red Giant Films is producing Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal and Balasubramanium of Oru Kal Oru Kannadi film is cranking the camera for the movie. V. Selvaraj is the art director.
Nayanatara is playing the leading lady in the movie as a simple middle class young girl Pavithra. She has gone de-glam for the film. Other supporting cast of the movie includes Santhanam, Sunder Ramu, Saranya Ponvannan and Chaya Singh.
