Karthikraja is the latest music - composer to remix a popular yesteryear song.
The elder son of maestro Ilayaraja, Karthikraja has remixed the hit number 'Sorgam Maduvilae Sokkum Azhagilae'.
The peppy number of early 1980s, the song was a sensation among youngsters then.
Karthikraja has opted to remix the song for a film titled Mamadurai.
The film directed by K K Krishnan features a debutant Vasan in the title role.
Vasan says, "The song has come quite good. It is a mix of peppy beat and excellent harmony".
The song is being shot in a grand manner with 20 girls from abroad shaking their legs with Vasan.
"The movie is an action-packed entertainer and would certainly go on to become a hit", he adds.
