Deepika Padukone says her next Tamil film "Kochadaiyaan" is an international project as it will be released in multiple languages like Russian, Japanese and Chinese.
The "Chennai Express" star will be seen with superstar Rajinikanth in "Kochadaiyaan". "It's not a Tamil film... it's actually an international film with Rajnikanth sir. He is an international icon and I call it an international film because it will be released in multiple languages like Russian, Japanese, Chinese, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English," Deepika told reporters here.
She also praised the visual effects used in the film, which is being directed by Rajinikanth's daughter, Soundarya R. Ashwin. "It's a 3D period film, which captures performance. It's a mix of animation and live action. The kind of visual effects shown in this film have not been showed in any Indian film before," said Deepika.
"Kochadaiyaan", which also stars R. Sarathkumar, Aadi Pinisetty, Shobana, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Jackie Shroff and Nassar, is expected to hit the screens Nov 1.
