While the Mercury Pookal dealt in detail about the rapport that a husband and wife should share, Thiruttu Payalae talked about the faith husband and wife should have on each other.
A couple that separated after the wife eloped with her friend has joined hands once again. Thankfully the generous and forward thinking husband accepted her.
Susi Ganesan invited them for a dinner and presented them with gifts.
Says Susi, "I am thrilled that my movie had served a purpose."
