Filmmaker A.R. Murugadoss, who is currently busy wrapping up his Hindi directorial "Akira" with Sonakshi Sinha, will soon join hands with producer Dil Raju to bankroll a bilingual with a leading Telugu film star.
This project will be directed by Gopichand Malineni, who is basking in the success of his latest Telugu outing "Pandaga Chesko".
"Murugadoss, Gopichand and producer Dil Raju met last week and discussed about collaborating soon. The initial talks have been positive. They're planning to rope in a leading Telugu film actor," a source privy to the development told.
Besides producing the project, Murugadoss will also pen the story. He will be producing the film's Tamil version, while Raju will take care of the Telugu version.
Contrary to reports, this project won't be the Telugu remake of Murugadoss-directed Tamil hit "Kaththi".
"This will be a fresh script. There were talks of remaking 'Kaththi' in Telugu, but nothing has materialized on that front so far."
Last week, Gopichand shared on his Twitter page that Dil Raju will be producing his next film and more details regarding the project will be revealed soon.
