After a successful venture in 'Raman Thediya Seethai', director Jagannath's next film too will have five heroines. Pasupathi, who did a cameo in RTS, will do the lead role in this movie, which is expected to go on floors in January. A protege of director Cheran, Jagannath's realistic portrayal of a youth searching for a suitable bride won the accolades of the masses.
Says Jagannath, 'The script for my next movie is high in quality and is no way inferior to Bengali movies, which are renowned for its powerful storylines. It will be an attempt to garner the attention of cinema lovers all over India."
He adds, "We are planning to shoot the movie in Kolkatta, Mumbai and in other parts of the country. Pasupathi will be the protagonist, with five actresses sharing screen space with him."
It was Panchali who was among the five Pandavas, and it is now Pasupathi among five heroines now. The roles have been reversed but the number remains the same. It may be recalled that 'Jeyam' Ravi is acting with five heroines in 'Peranmai', while Lawrence Raghavendra shares the screen with six in 'Rajathi Raja'.
All these news makes one wonder that even though a friendly kinship prevails less among the lead actors, an amicable relationship is among the heroines who has no ego in sharing screen space with not one but many of their colleagues.
