Jana Sena Party is in news not for a political reason but for a social one. Certain activists of the outfit, inspired by Pawan Kalyan's message to do constructive work, reached out to hapless patients at NIMS by offering them valid notes worth Rs. 25,000 in exchange for the invalidated notes.
After it was reported by a couple of dailies, the party founder and actor Pawan Kalyan acknowledged the good work done by his members and congratulated them on Twitter, saying, "My wholehearted appreciation to the supporters of JanaSena for their kind support to helpless patients in NIMS."
In his speeches, Power Star makes it a point to praise the noble works undertaken by his fans from time to time.
