'Arai En 305-il Kadavul', casts Prakash Raj as Lord Vishnu. Director Simbudevan's second film, after the huge success of 'Imsai Arasan 23aam Pulikesi', features the versatile actor as a God helping two young men sharing the same room in a mansion. Prakash is playing a mythological character for the first time in his career.
Simbudevan's maiden venture was produced by director Shankhar's 'S' Pictures and this film will also be produced by the same company. Like 'Pulikesi', this also promises to be a wholesome entertainer with non stop comedy.
The film has been completed in record time in 60 days and has been shot widely in Chennai, Bangalore and Tenkasi. S. Soundarajan will be the cinematographer while G. Sasikumar is the editor.
The five songs, written by Muthulingam, Na Muthukumar, Paa Vijay, Yugabharathy and Kabilan, are set to tune by Vidyasagar. They fall into different categories like rap, western, Tamil folk, melody and a re-mix number.
The producers have taken the trouble of procuring authentic costumes and have brought special wigs and make-up materials from Mumbai for the character of 'Maha Vishnu'.
Santhanam and 'Ganja'; Karuppu, who are also the heroes of 'Arai En 305il Kadavul', have decided not to act in any other film till this gets over.
Art Director Selvakumar has successfully created a 'Moon' at AVM studios, as the script demanded that Santhanam and Kanja Karuppu to dance on its surface.
Madhumitha and Jyothirmayi are playing the female lead roles. Rajesh, Ilavarasu, M.S. Baskhar, 'Thalaivasal' Vijay, Delhi Ganesh, Madan Bob, and Kuyili among others play important roles.
The movie is set for March release.
