The Superstar seems to be spending his time calling his friends and colleagues on a regular basis. Director Shankar has now confirmed that Rajini called him last week when he was shooting a scene in Nanban at the Bharath Engineering College.
Shankar said that it was a pleasant surprise to receive a call from Rajini and he was happy that the Superstar sounded brisk and energetic as before. The director added that the call began with the usual Ubhayakusalobhari (The Sanskrit word used by Ambi in Anniyan. Meaning: I am fine… Everything ok here… etc… etc…).
He added that Rajini disclosed that he will be back in Chennai after 45 days of complete rest.
