Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth has been rumoured to be stepped into the shoes of politics for a long time. Especially, speculations would rife for Rajini's political entry when general elections for every five years were approaching.
But then Rajini would rubbish those rumours and remained to have been stayed away from politics until now. On the other hand, political equations took new turn after the demise of late CM Jayalalitha. The late CM's close aide Shashikala is reportedly moving her pawns to assume the office while the BJP looks forward for the merger of AIADMK in the ruling party at the center.
In this scenario, Rajinikanth has met the DMK's chief Karunanidhi recently which triggered cooked up stories about Rajini's political arangatram. It was said Rajini had made just a formal visit to Karunanidhi as the latter got discharged from hospital recently.
Nonetheless Rajini's detractors are criticizing the superstar that he had kept mum all these days out of fear on the late CM. As she is no more now, Rajini is setting forces for the entry into active politics. For now, sources close to Rajini appear to be tight lipped while the fans crossed their fingers.
