Will it be a clash between the father-in-law and son-in-law this April at the box office? This is the million dollar question doing rounds in Kollywood for now.
Rajinikanth's much awaited Sivaji, directed by Shankar, and his son-in-law Dhanush's Parattai Engira Azhagu Sundaram, are expected to release simultaneously on 14 April.
Sivaji, produced by AVM, has been hogging all the media headlines since the day it went to floors. Being made in a mega budget, the movie features Shreya, Suman, and Vivek among others in the cast, with A R Rahman scoring music.
Parattai Engira Azhagu Sundaram starring Dhanush and Meera Jasmine, directed by Suresh Krishna, is a remake of the Kannada hit Jogi. The shooting for both the movies would come to an end on 4 February and the post production works would commence soon after.
Sources in the industry say that both the movies are getting ready for release on Tamil New Year's day. However, the producers of the movies are tight-lipped on the news and declined to confirm their release.
