After acting in two horror-comedies, namely Kalavathi (Aranmanai 2 in Tamil) and Nayaki, directed by Govi, Trisha is bracing up for a third this year.
Trisha has just returned from a month long shooting schedule in London for her new horror movie Mohini, directed by Madesh, a protege of Shankar. The film stars Jangiri Madhumitha, Yogi Babu, Ganesh and Swaminathan in the cast.
The story of Mohini, according to sources close to the team, is that Trisha plays the role of a chef and along with her team members Madhumitha and others leaves for London to participate in a competition. Spookily there, she gets trapped in a haunted and house and the rest of the story is how she escapes from there. The team is still keeping the hero of the film under wraps, although the rumor is that a top hero is on board.
As the title suggests, Trisha is a beauty-cum-ghost and she will be sporting prosthetic makeup for her role in the film for the first time in her career.
The film will be entirely shot in foreign countries. The team has also planned to shoot some sequences in Mexico and Thailand.
The VFX technicians team of Hollywood blockbuster series Harry Potter has been roped in for the same job in 'Mohini'.
