Amala Paul is one such actress who is widely popular across all the film industries down south. Of late, Amala has been wrong news for her alleged differences which later led to filling for divorce from her husband and filmmaker AL Vijay.
Now, an unofficial ban on Amala Paul by the entire Tamil film industry has been a hot topic in Kollywood for the past couple of days. Apparently, it is Amala's former father-in-law Alagappan who is pulling the strings in Kollywood to impose a ban on Amala Paul.
It is being reported that Alagappan, who is an influential actor-filmmaker, is pressurising several Kollywood biggies and is trying to convince them to not hire Amala in their films. This has naturally made many gullible producers to keep Amala out of their options only to not invite trouble from Alagappan.
However, actor Dhanush, who has roped in Amala in place of Samantha for his ambitious period gangster drama Vada Chennai, is in no mood to oust Amala from his film. Incidentally, this is the only film Amala has in her kitty at the moment.
Meanwhile, the family court in Chennai will grant divorce to the estranged couple if they continue to live separately for the next 6 months.
