Popular director Sundar C (actress Kushboo's husband) is off on a trip with his family to Malaysia. However he is all tensed up because his maiden venture as hero Thalainagaram will hit theatres this week-end.
Thalainagaram being produced by Oscar Films features Malluwood girl Jyothirmayee opposite SundarC.
Sundar was so committed to the project that he shed 17 kg for the role. On taking to acting, he says, 'I took it up because the director is Suraaj and the character is worthwhile.'
Suraaj, an erstwhile associate of Sundar, has wielded the megaphone for this hilarious entertainer.
Asked whether he would continue acting, Sundar says, 'let's wait for the release and the audience response'.
Vadivelu comedy too has come good, he adds.
