Mega Power Star Ram Charan's 'Dhruva' rocked with thumping collections this weekend and is inching towards Rs.50 crores share world wide soon. The promotions of the film appeared to have been picked up momentum again as Ram Charan and Mega Producer Allu Aravind's interviews were published in two leading Telugu dailies today.
Allu Aravind expressed his delight for the super hit result of 'Dhruva'. However, he admitted that the film lost 10% to 20% collections in B and C centers due to demonetization. "I made 'Dhruva' with the sole aim of making it as the biggest grosser for Ram Charan apart from his 'Magadheera'. Our film fared well in Overseas as well. But then, I should admit that the demonetization made the film losing 10% to 20% collections than the expected collections in B and C centers," said Allu Aravind. Meanwhile, Allu Aravind lauded Ram Charan's makeover and his monitoring of the project. "Unless, Charan's involvement, I couldn't have made 'Dhruva'," added the mega producer.
'Dhruva' has collected a share of Rs.42.19 crores at the end of its first week run. Rakul Preet Singh has romanced Ram Charan in this stylish action thriller. This Surender Reddy's directorial venture was made on Geetha Arts.
