Amrish Puri (1932-2005) was the best in playing villainous characters in Hindi. He was widely known for his menacing looks and stentorian voice that characterizes the role in a dark shade. Being popular in Bollywood, he was also seen in Telugu movies in super-hit films like 'Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari', 'Akhari Poratam' and 'Kondaveeti Donga'. He gained a good name from these movies in Tollywood. Following in his footsteps, it is now his grand daughter Arthi Puri making her dip in movies. Her first happens to be a Telugu movie.
A Police officer is the protagonist in the movie played by Brahmaji. The film directed by Ramesh Nuthalapati, will be produced by Rambabu on Satya Poorna Pictures. The movie was launched today on 8th Nov at Ramanaidu Studios.
