Film star and Hindupur MLA Balakrishna has once again showed his kindheartedness. The Nandamuri hero has come forward to pay the entire medical expenses of a 10-year-old cancer-stricken girl named Ankitha from Kalugodu village, Anantapur district.
According to the reports, Ankitha has been suffering from serious illness ever since she was 6 months old. Ankitha's parents took her to several hospitals and doctors, after conducting numerous tests, revealed that the little girl was suffering from brain cancer.
Ankitha's poor parents couldn't afford lakhs of rupees towards her treatment. Ankitha's plight was prominently featured in news papers and upon seeing the news, Balayya was moved emotionally and immediately spoke to Anantapur's TDP leaders and instructed them to admit Ankitha at Basavatharakam Cancer Research Institute.
Not stopping here, Balayya went on to say that he will pay all the expenses towards Ankitha's treatment. Speaking to the media, Balayya said that no poor family should suffer from cancer or the lack of resources for its treatment. Needless to say, Balayya's kindheartedness has won everyone's hearts.
