Megastar Chiranjeevi was king of box office until he had taken break after Shankar Dada Zindabad. Now, immense demand for theatrical rights of his 150th film proves that, he is no lesser to any star hero in Telugu.
Chiru150 theatrical rights business has begun. While deal is done for Ceded and East Godavari areas, two parties are in race for Vizag rights. NV Prasad who is very close to mega family has acquired Chiru150 and Ram Charan's Dhruva rights for unknown but fancy price.
Anu Sri Films has grabbed East rights by shelling out Rs 5.5 Crores. Coming to Vizag rights, business is expected to close at Rs 7.2 crores. As per reliable sources, discussions are on for rights of other areas too. Kathilantodu is estimated to make around Rs 70 Cr business.
Ram Charan has floated own production house Konidela Productions to make his dad's comeback movie. He roped in mass director VV Vinayak to helm the project that will have music by Devi Sri Prasad.
Interim, Kathilantodu is expected to release for Sankranthi, next year.
