A super hit Kannada film 'Mungaru Mallai' is being remade in Telugu as 'Vaana' by popular producer MS Raju. In Kannada 'Mungara Mallai' means 'Tholakari Jallu' (The early showers of monsoon).
The producer is planning to launch its shoot on August 1 at Mysore. It was first rumoured that MS Raju's son is making his debut through this movie.
However, popular writer Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao, who is very close to producer MS Raju refuted those rumours and announced that a new face is being introduced as hero but it was not MS Raju's son.
However, he made it clear to the musicmazaa.com that Sumanth, son of MS Raju would make his debut as hero through a film on the popular banner 'Sumanth Arts' alone.
Popular music director 'Devisri Prasad' might be introduced as hero through 'Vaana' movie.
