Nagarjuna sans moustache looked different. But given that he has just won his third Nandi award, that was the focus of attention for the journalists yesterday evening at the Annapurna Studios.
He thanked his director Raghavendra Rao, music director MM Keeravani and writer JK Bharavi for making it possible. As for Raghavendra Rao, he had special thanks as this is the second film directed by him that Nagarjuna has received an award for. Earlier, they had worked together for Annamayya too.
Of course, thanking all those who had helped him reach where he was what we had expected all along. But what came as a real surprise was his expressing the hope that he would one day be able to act in a film like Patalabhairavi.
He said he has had enough of devotional films, but said he was looking forward to act in a fantasy film like Patalabhairavi. He said he was looking forward to a producer to make such a film and said he was game to do it any day. But we hope Nag makes it under his home production house, Annapurna Productions, as we can get to watch it ASAP.
But looks like Nag wants to act in remake films now. Recently, Balakrishna told in an interview that Nag hoped that they could do a remake of 'Gundamma Katha'.
