Filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon and actor Akkineni Naga Chaitanya have teamed up for the second time for a yet-untitled Telugu project, which will go on floors here on May 11.
This project will be the Telugu version of Gautham's Tamil romantic-drama "Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada", starring actor Silambarasan aka Simbu.
"This is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. Both the versions were to be launched simultaneously but Gautham went ahead and already shot some portions of the Tamil version. The Telugu version with Naga Chaitanya will go on floors on Monday (May 11)," a source from the film's unit told.
Recently, Gautham had to replace heroine Pallavi Subhash from the film's Tamil version.
"Gautham has roped in a newbie in place of Pallavi. The newcomer is most likely to be paired with Simbu as well as Naga Chaitanya for both versions of the movie," he said.
Gautham and Chaitanya had previously worked in Telugu blockbuster "Ye Maaya Chesave", and incidentally, it was Simbu who played the lead in this movie's Tamil version 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvayaa'.
