There was also a press meet that was held yesterday, April 29, 2008 where the producer of the film confirmed that the film will hit theatres tomorrow May 1, 2008. 'Parugu' was scanned by the censor board recently and it passed with a clean chit of U certificate from the censors.
Allu Arjun, speaking during the press meet said that he had wanted to do an entertainer from the time he saw 'Bommarillu', and that wish has been fulfilled with this film. He has also stated that his character in this film is sure to standout and the film would entertain all the section of audience.
'Parugu' is being brought out by Sri Venkateshwara Cine Creations banner and the director is the film is hopeful that this film will be as successful as 'Bommarillu'.
