Prakash Raj home production film Payanam is going to hit the screens on December 3.The film is a bi lingual one which is titled as ‘Payanam’ in Tamil and ‘Gaganam’ in Telugu
The film is based on a hijack drama of Indian Airlines flight IC 814 that takes place in Tirupati airport. Prakash Raj makes it clear that For this the unit erected a huge set similar to Tirupati airport at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.
The post production work of the film is currently progressing in Chennai. Telugu Hero Nagarjuna is playing a distinct role that has never been played by him. The film is directed by Radhamohan.
Prakash Raj says: “Payanam is an edge of the seat thriller. It is going to be a new genre film, which all of us will be proud of. The film has no songs, so instead of a audio release we will be holding a trailer release after Diwali.”
