When 'Kaabil' was preponed to be released on Jan 25 (at 6 p.m.), everybody thought that the imminent clash with Shah Rukh Khan's 'Raees' was now successfully pre-empted.But that is not to be. Releasing the trailer of 'Raees' this morning, the makers have revealed the release date to be Jan 25 and not Republic Day! This makes one wonder if it's a deliberate step by Khan to dent the day one openings for 'Kaabil'.
Hrithik must have hoped that 'Kaabil' (which will also be releasing in Telugu as 'Balam') will have been reviewed by critics by the time his rival's movie hits the screens the next day. Now that 'Raees' will have a normal release (and not an evening release as is the case with 'Kaabil'), the tables have been turned!Are we in for yet another surprise preponement by the Roshans?
