It is reported by reliable sources in Kollywood that actor Sivakarthikeyan and director Ponram, who were part of super-duper hit film such as Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Rajini Murugan, might come together soon to make their third film.
Critics feel that Sivakarthikeyan, who started off as a mimicry artiste, hosted reality shows on TV before making it big as a hero in Kollywood, has come to be liked by all sections of the audiences including children, youths and the elders. His films are harmless, comic ventures which don’t impose any negativity on the audiences.
Presently starring in newcomer Bakkiaraj Kanna’s Remo in which he has taken on triple roles for the first time in his career, Sivakarthikeyan’s next film would be directed by ‘Jayam’ Raja, who made last year’s colossal hit film Thani Oruvan which had his brother and actor ‘Jayam’ Ravi and Nayantara in lead roles.
Sivakarthikeyan’s next film after Raja’s film is likely to go to floors by the end of the year and may see him working with Ponram for the third time. Billed as a comic venture with liberal doses of sentiments, the film was to earlier star Raghava Lawrence in the lead but it is now confirmed that it would be Sivakarthikeyan who would be essaying the lead role in the untitled venture.
