As we reported earlier that actor Sumanth is all set to don new role as film producer. The latest update in Film Nagar is that Sumanth would make his production debut with the Telugu remake of superhit Hindi film Vicky Donor. Tipped to be a story of a sperm donor, the movie featuring newcomers Ayushman Khurana, Yami Gautam in the lead roles has went onto become critically acclaimed as well as commercially successful film.
Interestingly, Vicky Donor happens to be the debut production venture of John Abraham under his home banner. Now mostly, the Telugu remake would be Sumanth's launch movie as producer in Tollywood. However, it's not clear whether Sumanth would cast in his own film or does he rope in any other contemporary star for his debut production venture.
Although it's widely circulated that producer Madhura Sreedhar had bought its remake rights, latest is that the rights have been passed on to Sumanth from its rightful owner.
